INFORMATION

The Gorge Rowing and Paddling Centre in Victoria was established in 2001 as a high performance club where elite athletes would be able to train year-round with other athletes of a comparable calibre. The club worked in conjunction with the Pacific Sport National Training Centre at its outset but then became a part of the GO Rowing and Paddling Association, focusing primarily on rowing, outrigger and dragon boat. Due to the restructuring of the Gorge facility and the emergence of the Fairway Gorge Paddling Club, GR&PC has been disbanded in favour of the new Chinook Racing Canoe Club.
