The
Parry
Sound Canoe Club joined CKC in 2012 but
has been active at William St. Park since about 1997 as
the sprint arm of the Georgian Nordic
Ski and Canoe Club. They deal primarily with Dragon
Boat and Marathon disciplines with one of their dragon
boat teams winning the world championships. The club hosted
its first local sprint regatta in 2015 for the Trillium
qualifications. Today, the club is known simply as
Georgian Nordic Paddling and remains an active
arm of the rebranded Georgian Nordic Outdoor Activity
Centre. |
