Meadows Paddling Club
was founded 2008 as a dragon boat club, but now offers
C15 and sprint canoe-kayak in its programming. Doug
Ellery, originally of Balmy Beach, joined with Rick
Hammer and MJ Abbott to put together a canoe club in
the area east of Coquitlam in time for the 2009 racing
season.
