INFORMATION
The St. Albert Canoe & Kayak Club formed in 1989 just outside of Edmonton. Originally located on Riel Pond, due to highway construction in 2004, the club was forced to take up residence at Kirk Lake and the North Saskatchewan River. Beginning in 2009, the club made Kirk Lake its official home, but city expansion again forced a move north to Cardiff Pond. Original Sprint Colours: Royal Purple and Gold.
