Below
are listed, where known, the champion clubs of the Canada
Day Regatta East (Ottawa) and Canada
Day Regatta West (Regina). If and when other
regatta champions become known, they will be added to
this list.
* In 2015, the Canada Day Regattas began to be incorporated
into a reorganised Canada Cup Series.
*
Only the first four winners are inscribed on the Citizen Club Team
Award Trophy. It is understood that this trophy was originally awarded
to the regatta-winning club, as stated in the 1989 program. However,
this program also states that North Bay won the trophy in 1988 despite
Cap being inscribed on the trophy itself. 1990 newspapers also confirm
that North Bay and Cap have won the regatta, so I am inclined to
give the 1988 win to North Bay and the 1989 win to Cap.
** 1992's Canada Day West could not have been Wascana since 1995
was their first win
