The
Cornwall
Canoe Club was founded in 1968 under Cornwall's
Parks and Recreation Department. The club began as an associate
member of the Canadian Canoe Association for the 1968-1969
year, successfully hosting a divisional regatta in 1968.
It is possible that this incarnation was a rejuvenation
of the Cornwall Boat Club
and may have shared premises with the Cornwall
Rowing Club. Both organisations are defunct
today. |
