The Jubilee Boat Club was founded around 1908 and joined the bursting popularity of boating activities on the Northwest Arm alongside St. Mary's and Northwest Arm Rowing Club with the Weagwoltic Club emerging a year later. The Dartmouth Boys' Christian Association purchased Jubilee's C15 which was one of only four C15s in the Maritimes at the time, originally purchased in 1919 from the William English Canoe Company. By 1924 they were known as the Jubilee A.A.C. (Amateur Aquatic Club?). The use of the club changed over time and by the 1970s, it was a popular site for wedding receptions. Located at the foot of Jubilee Road, the site today is now a boat launch.
