INFORMATION
The Kanesatake Canoe Club is situated on the Kanesatake Mohawk Reserve in Quebec, just north of Montreal. A new entry in 2003, Kanesatake was founded by Michael Rice, a former Onake paddler, in 1999 and joined the AQCKV in 2000. Through major sponsorship from the Mohawk Council, the club has persevered to develop the physical, mental, spiritual and social well-being of the community.
