INFORMATION |
After
the Henley regatta of 1921, the Niagara
District Aquatic Club formed
to promote rowing, canoeing, swimming and skating. Many
of the members were former St.
Catharines Rowing & Canoe Club members.
The club joined CCA in July of 1923 as the Niagara
District Canoe Club
and competed in the 1923 Western Division Trials, represented
by the Shea brothers. Their colours were referred to as
"garnet & grey." |
