INFORMATION |
The
St.
John’s Canoe Club was founded in 1977
by Roger Pearson. The club revived a rich tradition of competitive
canoeing on Quidi Vidi Lake, lasting in the association
until 1990. The club's start coincided with the staging
of the Canada Games in St. John's that summer. The Quidi
Vidi Boathouse is now occupied by the St.
John's Rowing Club. |
