The
Waterloo
Paddling Club joined CKC as an associate
club in 2013. The club focuses mainly on dragon boat with
its sister organisation the University of Waterloo
Dragon Boat Club, but is expanding into other
paddling disciplines as the sport grows in popularity in
the Kitchener-Waterloo region. The club is located at the
Laurel Creek Boat Launch as part of the Grand River Conservation
Authority. Their pilot project is a high school dragon boat
competition. |
