Rupert and the Blizzard

The Snowmaker was the second song written and basically revolves around
the same motif with variations. I haven't done very much editing to it except for
the addition of the penultimate section: "even in the end, winter wallows on"
to give it some more variety.

Start running - Billy's on his way   On the wind Jack Frost sails -
harbinger of the seasons
And Rupert now has a task at hand
It's Billy they must find

All the way to Lava Land they ride the skies and seek the prize -   Send Billy running home again
to King Frost's land in shame
They ride the skies on Christmas night - they find him in the storm

And burn him there with Tommy's heat, the guards will take him home   Keep running - Billy hasn't lost   A war of kin - the cousins clash
Rupert sides with Jack Frost

A friend he must stand by in pain
so Billy they restrain
In the night Jack shelter seeks
The storm descends once more
And Billy's out there beyond reach
Through the storm they fly

They ride the skies on Christmas night to make him pay
for the storms he made
Billy runs from the war inside -
from Jack and Rupert's wrath

Even in the end, winter wallows on   Stop running - Christmas is here

Billy's gone, Billy's gone       Relax and make a snowman
