Rupert and the Pharaoh's Treasure

This one took quite a while to put together, mainly because it seemed finished and
I was unable to lengthen it by any means. It incorporates a repeating sixth interval
through all of the verses, modulations, introduction and conclusion which gives it a
slightly unique flavour.

  1   2   3
On the trail, down and deep
in the halls of history
Disappears - Rupert is off on his own to find the thief   Backwards in time through
the mist and the smoke
  4   5   6
And the signs, feeling alone   Around people and places unknown   Who is this? Rupert encounters
a face of medical ways
  7   8   9
Out of the rain and into the world   Of deception and criminal gain   Hot on the trace of the treasure
  10   11   12
  Removed from its case
Deducing the clues
  Comparing their points of view
Through the night.
Into the hall where the necklace
vanished away
  13   14   15
Tucked away in the shadows   That lurk in the dark and hide
the way to uncover the truth
There's a man in the sight
of the sleuths
  16   17   18
He gets away   But not before his prints are revealed   And the case is closed!
  19       20
The case is closed...       The case is closed...
