Rupert and the Christmas Tree

As the last of the songs for the Rupert Project, The Treemaker was highly anticipated.
This was one of the few that was dull while writing the music but considerably
enhanced by the lyrical melodies.

  1   2   3
Christmas is here again   But the trees are dying   Would the celebration
Be without pine and cone?
  4   5   6
  Bodkin seeks answer out in
the snow-capped hills
Where a professor ponders   On the barren trees
  7   8   9
Into the forest   Into a dream   Try to repair the damage
that winter brings
  10   11   12
Imps of the forest   And the Pine King intervene to
preserve what's left
In the forest that's fallen ill
  13   14   15
Over the forest   Under the clouds   Try to rejuvenate with
a refreshing shower
  16   17   18
          Morning has broken and the
forest awaits
  19       20
  A visit from Rupert who
saved the season

      For all to share...
