INFORMATION |
The
Toronto
Sailing & Canoe Club
was established in 1939, officially taking over from
the Toronto Canoe Club
on Humber Bay. Today, the club provides sailing activities,
both racing and cruising, to its members. Fire ravaged the
building in 1957 and canoeing activities were officially
disbanded in 1965. The club celebrated its centenary in
1980 with a commemorative publication (seen at left).
