there was no club championship and no awarding of points
in 1903, the above table simply shows the number of firsts,
seconds and thirds based on published results. If points
had been awarded, Grand
Trunk Boating Club
would have been the champion club with 25 points. |
Only
7 of 11 events were completed on August 1st. The remaining
four were contested at the Longueuil regatta September 5.
It is unlikely that Gordon Davidson was in both the Lachine
and St. Stephen's boats. Most likely a sibling or cousin.
