Tabulation of Points
The Toronto Canoe Club Yearbook for 1909 lists the points table for the 1908 Championships in Ottawa (which Toronto won for the first time). However, they only award 2 points for a first and 1 point for a second. Those points totals are not listed here.
The Montreal Gazette seems to list inconsistent points totals that do not match the 3-2-1 system in place at the time. The above tabulation is based on actual results.
NB: The points used in "Canada's Sprint Canoe Clubs," (2006) are based on Senior/Junior events only from 1904 to 1915.

* There were only two official member clubs in the Western Division in 1908: Toronto CC and Island AAA. Other unaffiliated clubs competed alongside with them at a Divisional "qualifying" meet simply to "make a regatta of it." Only Parkdale joined the Division as a result, despite threats from the CAAU about the professionalisation of paddlers.
