INFORMATION
Le Club de Canoë-Kayak de Vitesse de Trois-Rivières took on its new name in 2007 to reflect the amalgamation of cities to form a new Trois-Rivières. Originally known as Le Club de Canotage du Cap-de-la-Madeleine, it is a club based on the concept of one family achieving many successes together since 1975. Cap took over as the major athletic canoe and kayak centre for St-Maurice after the demise of the Radisson club. While the Cap club was located on the eastern shore of St-Maurice, the new building is situated on the delta island Île St-Christophe, on the western shore of the eastern arm of the river.
