CANOE KAYAK CANADA SENIOR NATIONAL TEAM
The ICF World Cup Circuit was introduced sometime in the late 1980s. It fluctuated between 2 and 5 World Cups per year until 2006.

Many International Regattas that run annually would be selected to be part of the World Cup Circuit.

NB: It is unclear when the World Cup label was first used by ICF Sprint Competitions. There was a World Cup in 1989 which appears to have been a sprint regatta. Many popular annual International Regattas such as Duisburg, Szeged and Poznan would occasionally be included as part of the World Cup Circuit. Many of these regattas might actually have been World Cups but until I find documented proof, they do not appear on this list.
