JUNIOR
WORLD CANOE CHAMPIONSHIPS |
|
The
Junior Worlds were contested biannually on odd years
until 2011. Beginning in 2013, the championships have
expanded to include
the inaugural U23 World Championships. This new event
is now contested annually.
Since
the Junior World Canoe Championships
did not officially begin until 1985, Canadians participated
in the European Junior Canoe Championships from
1973 to 1983.
