The
Champetre club's application to join CCA in 1913 was voted down
according to an article in the Gazette, July 18th. The reason given
was due to suspected "professional" status of Champetre
hockey players now paddling for the canoe club. The club's application
must have been accepted in due course as the club was hosting a
regatta within days on July 26th of the same year. |
